Legacy Dinner and Charity Auction

ABOUT THIS EVENT: 

Join us on Wednesday September 28th in the Calhoun Room of the Grand Wayne Center and help us raise money to give kids fighting cancer a fun summer getaway. The evening will start out with food, drinks, and conversation featuring this year's speaker Chris Fowler from E.S.P.N. We will be featuring silent as well as live auction items to bid on. Even if you can't make it to the event, you can still bid on auction items using the link above. Tickets for the dinner can also be purchased using the link above. ABOUT OUR CHARITY FOR THIS YEAR: 

Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do began in 1992 as a one-week resident camp for 38 children surviving cancer. In less than three years, over 100 kids a week were hiking, swimming and playing their way from the worries of cancer. We are also a long-standing member of Children's Oncology Camping Association International, which allows for networking and program expansion opportunities and helps in providing a safe and memorable experience for campers. Camp programs are free to participants and held at YMCA Camp Potawotami, surrounded by woods, meadows, lowlands and Blackman Lake. The camp is offered for children ages 7 through high school graduation, and each camper is able to bring a sibling along for the week they are at camp.

FUNDRAISING FOR THE EVENT:

When you visit the auction, be sure to buy a raffle ticket for that month's 50/50 raffle. We will do a drawing every month with that month's tickets for half of the money. Tickets can be purchased for $10 apiece at the auction with cash or credit card.
